Had an awful meal today in the Bulls Head in Breaston, I think I was singing there praises not so long ago too. This place has gone right down in my estimation, there is cob webs on the ceiling, plaster peeling from the walls and dust and dirt everywhere and the carpet around the bar area has I reckon an alien life living in it, but the beer was nice, I had a pint of Jennings Blonde Babe.
The meal I had was only warm and the corn cob that came with the meal wasn't hot enough to melt the pat of butter I put on it. I had just ate two ribs and one strip of chicken and a onion ring my partner had given me, [one of three] off her plate when I decided enough was enough, why should I put up with such a **** meal. I immediately march up to the counter and spoke to the young girl behind it, she said she was sorry my meal wasn't hot enough and took it away. When it came back the onion rings that my partner had gave me from her plate were missing and so too was the BBQ sauce the ribs had pored over them.
I again complained to the young girl, she came back with two small pots of BBQ sauce, my onion rings were never to be seen again, and I do so like onion rings..
