 Police investigating a serious assault have released images of two men they would like to speak to. A 39-year-old man was in the toilet at Buzz Bar, in High Street, Long Eaton, where he saw two men arguing. He was about to leave the room when he was suddenly struck in the face by a glass.

  • He suffered serious facial injuries. He was discovered by other pub customers, who entered the toilet shortly after the attack and raised the alarm. The two men pictured were seen in the bar that evening and detectives are trying to trace them. The man was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he required a large number of stitches.
  • Both men are white and slim. One wore a grey jumper with black writing on. He had a white shirt on underneath. The other man wore a patterned tshirt with a dark jacket over the top. They both had dark hair. Two men have been arrested in connection with the attack and released on bail. They are not the two men pictured. The assault happened at around 10.20pm on Friday, September 28. Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
